We need a creative engineer with experience developing high-quality products on schedule, with strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for innovation. In this role you will be responsible for front-end development of a new web-based application as well as the ongoing support of the application in the production environment. Required Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline Required Years of Experience: 5 years, or 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Responsibilities: 1. Participate in requirements analysis 2. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture 3. Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies including Story Point Estimation, Backlog Grooming, Sprint/Release Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives 4. Write clean, scalable code based on requirements and design 5. Unit Test and deploy applications and systems 6. Revise, update, refactor and debug code 7. Improve existing software 8. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) 9. Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support Minimum Qualifications: 1. Proven work experience as a developer. 2. Experience with REACT. 3. Excellent knowledge of software development and user interface web applications 4. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus 5. Candidate should have a strong understanding of modern web design using HTML5 and CSS3 and can implement UX/UI requirements via responsive frameworks and design systems. 6. Excellent knowledge and experience working with the following languages and technologies: Java, Typescript or JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML 7. Excellent knowledge of architecture styles/APIs (SOAP, REST, RPC) 8. Familiarity with modern source control systems such as git/svn/mercurial 9. An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude. 10. Experience with DevOps and continuous build continuous deployment processes and tools.
