The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and transforming a wide range of data types and structures using SQL, Glue, JSON, and ETL processes. The role involves preparing and refining data for analytics and business intelligence purposes. Familiarity with Twilio and Segment (CDP) is a plus. Responsibilities: Data Collection and Integration: Collect, integrate, and preprocess data from various sources. Ensure the data is accessible, understood, and usable. Data Cleaning and Transformation : Use SQL and ETL processes to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis. Work with structured and unstructured data in formats such as JSON. Data Analysis Support: Assist data scientists and analysts by preparing and structuring data effectively for analysis. Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data quality. Pipeline Development: Use AWS Glue and other tools to develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines. Ensure efficient data flow and storage. Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Provide data-related support and insights. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformations, and structures to ensure transparency and repeatability. Skills and Qualifications: Essential Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and analysis. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Familiarity with AWS Glue and understanding of data integration services. Proficient in handling JSON and other data formats. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Ability to work with large, complex data sets and relational databases. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Experience with Twilio APIs for communication services. Experience with Segment or similar customer data platforms. Familiarity with other programming languages or data tools.
