Role: Technical Developer Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary: The Technical Developer will play a key role in the development and customization of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP) reports. Collaborating closely with business analysts, end-users, and other technical teams, the Technical Developer will be responsible for translating business reporting requirements into effective and visually appealing data visualizations. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion applications, data modeling, and proficiency in OTBI and BI Publisher development. Key Responsibilities: Must be strong in Oracle Cloud Fusion. Strong in security Admin. Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand reporting requirements. Design and develop data models, ensuring optimal extraction and transformation of data from various sources. Create and customize OTBI reports within the Oracle BI Cloud Service environment. Develop and design BI Publisher reports, incorporating complex formatting and customization as needed. Optimize queries and ensure database performance in collaboration with Database Administrators (DBAs). Collaborate with end-users for report validation and incorporate feedback into the development process. Work closely with IT project managers to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Provide support and contribute to training initiatives for end-users. Stay abreast of Oracle Cloud Fusion updates and best practices related to OTBI and BIP.
