Location: On-site in Boston, MA Prefer resources closer to Boston, MA. Effective Feb 1 st week one day onsite will be required. ** Must have Kafka experience Major Responsibilities: Create/Enhance ETL jobs as needed to load external feeds into warehouse tables/data mart tables. Work with an agile team to deliver and evolve the data platform services Provide technical support to User Acceptance and Integration testing environments by researching suspected anomalies and periodically refreshing the environments. Performance tuning ETL process and user queries. Develop the production process to automate the ETL and create documentation to transition the process to the Production team. 3 plus years of experience distributed databases particularly in designing and implementing ETL processes; understanding of data models and data flow Experience in data modelling, schema designing, data loading, data replication, SQL Query writing and optimization on distributed databases preferably on Cloud Technologies. Working experience with distributed databases on cluster/platform. 1 plus year hands-on experience in Integrating Informatica Cloud (IICS) Experience with AWS technologies Experience in working in Agile methodology Proficiency in understanding relational, star schema and dimensional data models Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
