Leads the DevOps team as a technical subject matter expert to build and deploy an advanced DevOps platform in the AWS cloud including capabilities across the cloud, CI/CD pipeline, EKS platform, tool chain, automated testing, maven build, AD Single Sign-On, and ancillary systems Defines DevSecOps capabilities to ensure security is built into the infrastructure and processes Collaborates with Software Architects and Enterprise Architect to define the wholistic platform architecture and maintain the architecture documentation Collaborates with Software Engineering team to design solutions based on the software technologies, system requirements, and SDLC workflow Plans and maintains platform roadmap in coordination with the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security and leads the engineering team in estimating work in the roadmap to allow for proper planning of future DevOps releases Establishes a robust DevOps Sandbox environment and process for migration of IaC to upper environments Designs pipeline to include security and general code scanning tools to enforce quality gate controls as part of the automated platform Builds custom scripts such as Lambda functions to enable platform capabilities Works with customer teams to ensure requirements and system integrations are well documented and designed with security, scalability, resiliency, and performance Designs performance testing approach to ensure that the infrastructure scales dynamically to meet customer needs and ensures that performance tests properly stress the systems and produce proper results across all system components EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university and eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure administration, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Extensive knowledge of Terraform, AWS EKS and Gitlab pipeline Knowledge of AWS Cloud Expert, AWS Networking, Cloud Security, Maven, Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Monitoring, Cloud Cost Management Knowledge of GitFlow / Feature Branch Git Strategy Knowledge of Python, javascript, bash, java, lambda functions Knowledge of Jira, Agile Scrum Ability to effectively communicate in technical and business terms, verbally and written Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment Excellent understanding of Cloud Computing Services including AWS, Ability to perform on-call responsibilities and after hour duties as necessary Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment active directory information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=957507&uid= |
