Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable APIs, including the design of new features and enhancements to existing functionality. Defining and implementing Open API designs for containerized architecture using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tooling using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps, and related technologies. Write automated feature and regression tests as part of daily development. Play an active hands-on role across the entire software development life cycle, including helping to deliver software into production. Interact with globally distributed teams and technical leaders driving architecture and technical roadmap planning. Qualifications 6+ years experience with Open API design and development using python preferably FastAPI web framework and ElasticSearch 3+ years of experience of object-oriented coding for designing and implementing microservices. Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles. Experience in implementing API security best practices. Experience working with open-source software and tools (Redis, Kafka, ElasticSearch etc) General cloud architecture experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred Azure. Experience with building production grade products for cloud Marketplace. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops Experience in gRPC based services is a bonus Documentation and white-boarding skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Practices, Principles, Techniques Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Release Communication and Collaboration Follow coding best practices.
