Certification Any technical certification is helpful, but not mandatory No of years of experience 1) Total IT expereince of 10+ Years 2) 3+ years of experience in DevOps 3) 3+ years of experience in Jenkins, Terraform, and/or Ansible 4) 3+ years of experience GitHub and Git 5) 5+ years of experience in working with customers and offshore teams.' Team size handled (if any) This is an individual contributor role. However, the candidate should be a good team player. Primary Skills (Must have) 1) Experience with automation using Ansible, Power, and/or Terraform with Jenkins and GitHub. 2) Architecting DevOps procedures and methodology 3) Deployments in AWS, Azure, and VMware 4) Communication and Presentation skills necessary to communication with Directors, Managers, and other Team Members Secondary skills (Good to have) 1) Knowledge of and experience with Rubrik 2) Solid documentation and project tracking skills with Jira or Confluence (or equivalent) 3) Sysadmin background and troubleshooting skills Job/Role Description 1) The primary engagement is to recommend, architect, and implement automation solutions for deploying, managing, and removing various software and systems in use for the client. 2) The client wants to invest and adopt DevOps methodologies and best practices while moving most of their infrastructure and processes to the cloud. This role will require the candidate to not just implement solutions, but to shape the technology and the direction that the client uses to get to their goals. Soft skills/other skills (If any) 1) Display sound communication skills while acting as a point of contact between various teams and stakeholders. Patient, level-headed and cool under pressure. 2) Detail-oriented and meticulous with a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to clients and setting high standards for excellent client service. 3) Self-starter with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise them.
