On-site work at the location stated above is required for a one-month probationary period. After the probationary period, 50% remote work. Description of Engagement: NYS OSC is looking for staff augmentation to help support the New York State Payroll System which is running on v. 9.2 of PeopleSofts HCM/Payroll for North America. The Payroll Application team is seeking the services of an Application Developer 1 to assist with the daily work on our application development teams, which includes analyzing functional requirements, assisting with design documents, development of technical specifications, and application development and troubleshooting of the Payserv system. The development work encompasses work on a multitude of both batch and online objects in the payroll system. Experience in SQR and PeopleCode is needed. Project goals are to streamline processes, reduce customizations, troubleshoot current level programs, and develop enhancements requested by the business. Mandatory Qualifications: Five or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface. Five or more years of experience in using SQL over PeopleSoft Data Structures. Two or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.x and higher. Two or more years of experience creating technical design documents and unit test scripts. At least two prior engagement developing PeopleSoft online applications and customization interfaces. Two years experience in using Oracle 11.x or higher database. One year experience using Quest STAT or Phire for migrations. One year experience using Toad or Oracle SQL Developer.
