Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery. Extensive exposure to Sybase 15.x, 12.x database administration under Linux platform. Strong Sybase Replication experience (Replication Server 15.x, 12.x) and knowledge on Distributed Database Management System Experience into DBA monitoring tasks, manage, escalate incidents, database replications (MSA). Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options Strong working knowledge on DBA tasks, troubleshooting and analytical skills Should have basic Unix commands knowledge or / Perl Script is preferred.
