Java API Engineer- W2 Role ! Hybrid Location: Durham, NC or Westlake, TX, Need Local Candidates of TX and NC Only Duration: 12+ months Must Have: 10+ years of hands-on experience with Object Oriented programming, software design and programming fundamentals Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies Keen ability to see complex challenges from multiple perspectives, and leaning in to solve independently or with others Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design Hands on experience in programming using Java, Python, etc. to enable integration with heterogeneous API, batch, and event driven data solutions Experience with DevOps or CI/CD Pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash, Ansible, etc. Understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, Indexes, and data service development. Working experience in containerize the service and deploying in cloud platform (AWS ECS/EKS) Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS) Experience with Agile development methodology Experience in handle release management, issue triaging and application support Experience/knowledge in GraphQL Job Responsibilities Performing independent technical and functional analysis for determining and developing the best delivery approaches based on requirements Providing original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts and critical initiatives Development on small to sophisticated initiatives, components, and subsystems Supporting and performing all phases of testing leading to final implementation, including unit, integration, acceptance testing and production install validation Crafting and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation and status Providing application support, problem diagnosis and resolution, acting as an on-call resource supporting the organization incident escalation models, including code release validation and production installation support Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment wtwo North Carolina Texas https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=907772&uid= |
