MOI - Skype Duration -6 Months Position Summary: Generate and deliver reports that help key business leaders review data more effectively. Prepare reports and provide insight to management and leadership to enhance the decision- making process using fact based data working to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Understand and transform business needs into user-friendly and effective visualization solutions via Qlik or similar BI tools. Utilize and track work efforts through the appropriate ticketing system. This involves creating, updating, and escalating issues to the appropriate stakeholder/s. Review and perform peer reviews of work and output. Using available reporting tools generate existing reports as required by the business; internal operations and external clients. Troubleshoot/resolve any technical issues or inconsistencies and anomalies within the data. Collaborate with the Client Relations team to understand external client reporting requests and acquire reporting requirements through the client working with an assigned business analyst and the appropriate IT development teams as required. Perform ad-hoc research and analysis as required by the business. This includes generating reports and visuals as requested. Assist management in data interpretation and identifying root causes of data anomalies and trends. Ensure proper data governance framework around critical data elements by following established procedural guidelines and best practices. This is inclusive of owning specific reporting "areas" within established reporting tools and serving as the subject matter expert on the reporting framework and design. Troubleshoot and resolve BI tool extract, transform, and load issues as they occur impacting the delivery of scheduled reports. Ensure strategies and methods are grounded in thorough analysis that is evaluated for up and down stream impacts; i.e. the modification of one report might impact the output of another report. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of 2 to 4 years relatable experience; or a minimum of 5 years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of experience in one or more of the following areas: user acceptance testing, business requirements input/development, analytics and reporting, project management (contributor), or relevant operations experience. Desired: Bachelor's degree in Business or Data Analytics, Computer Science. Experience with BI Tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize deliverables, meet deadlines, and work independently. Ability to manage multiple assignments with defined resources while remaining focused in a dynamic work environment. Ability to work independently and within a team environment; collaborate & share knowledge and best practices with other team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word; Ability to create pivot tables, macros, with the use of lookup and logic functions. Experience with Data Visualization key principles. Ability to analyze and solve practical problems, interpret procedures in written, oral, or flow diagrams to make sound decisions. Customer centric with attention to detail. Fast learner with the flexibility and desire to learn and perform a variety of tasks for multiple programs; open to suggestions and feedback. Ability to understand data outputs from multiple systems and their dependencies. Travel is required at 10% of the time.
