Executing the Test Plans and Test Cases through all phases of the testing process, if required. Responsible for using Xray, or other Test Management tools, to manage test case execution. Managing the Defect Management Process, to include defect identification, resolution, and tracking. Responsible for working with the vendor to ensure defects are resolved in a timely fashion. Serving as the testing point of contact for vendors on various projects to co-ordinate testing activities. Managing defects using Jira or other Defect Management tools. Providing support (coordination) for UAT efforts, utilizing TxDOT division staff (users) for test execution. Providing testing guidance for various projects.
