Job Title Scrum Master (Investment Banking) Location Boston MA Duration 6 months /Contract To Hire JOB DESCRIPTION USC/GC Candidate must have at least 3 years of recent Investment Banking experience. Must Haves: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Investment data experience Experience within the asset management or financial services industry with at least three years as a Scrum Master. Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution and coaching skills. Responsible for ensuring team follows Agile values, principles and practices Build strong relationships with business divisions and departments across the company globally; build a trusting environment where issues are raised with an emphasis on correcting and problem-solving. Champions collaborative discussion, decision-making and problem-solving in support of assigned initiatives. Facilitates meetings and ensure Scrum events are held (Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint, Sprint Review and Retrospective) Facilitate the completion of assignments efficiently and without dictating work. Holds the team accountable and ensures the team understands and meets goals Facilitates conversation to create a plan to address process improvements Tracks and publishes progress towards goals / project execution Monitor budget and escalate issues as appropriate. Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Day to Day: This Scrum Master will support 2 Investment Data Management focused teams one supporting our Unified Data Platform and one focused on Investment Data Run the Business deliverables. Working directly with the Scrum team and product owner, the Scrum Master will support and facilitate the continual delivery of solutions and business value. They will leverage knowledge of the asset management industry to deliver complete business solutions aligned with the strategic vision and corporate goals. As a dependency to success, the Scrum Master will follow, and champion Agile best practices and guidelines as defined by the company. The Scrum Master will participate in, and provide input to, the ongoing efforts to improve efficiency of the Technology group and Agile function. Scrum Master: Will support 2 Investment Data Management focused teams one supporting our Unified Data Platform and one focused on Investment Data Run the Business deliverables. Additional skills/experience: Scrum master experience at an asset management company Investment data experience preferred.
