This is a 95% remote position but the client wants candidates in the New York/New Jersey maybe PA area in case they need to go into the office for a Networking emergency or once a quarter for kick off. ****This is a pure Windows/Active Directory/VMware position. It is not Network Security. Candidates need to have good tenure on their resumes. This is a multi-year project and they will not select a candidate with many short projects. Position will be responsible for day to day operations, monitoring, and maintenance of various Global systems to support our E-Commerce platforms. This includes applications running on ESXi 6.0/6.5, Windows Server 2012/2016 and RHEL Linux in our various Data Centers. Role also requires to work with Account Management Team and Security Team to produce reports for PCI/SOX Compliancy. Monthly patching of Windows Servers using WSUS Globally Monitoring and reviewing Backup Reports and Logs Globally Setting up and administering Netbackup policies and clients Globally Quarterly testing and reporting of restores for backup clients Globally Monitoring and review of VM Ware ESXi Clusters Globally Build out of VMs for various functions (Production/DR/POC) Management of AD Domains Users and Groups, including running reports for Compliancy Documentation and maintenance of BOMs and daily / monthly / quarterly procedures Strong knowledge of Active Directory managing OUs, account management, overall architecture/design, integrating AD with non-Windows environments (OpenLDAP), group policies Experience with VMWare ESX 6.0 or 6.5 Knowledge and experience with OSX and VM Ware Fusion Knowledge of Linux 6.x and 7.x (basic troubleshooting and OS buildouts) Experience with Veritas NetBackup, Veritas NetBackup Admin Console and Veritas OpsCenter Strong knowledge in building out Windows Server OS (2012/2016) and technologies including Failover Cluster Manager, DNS, AD LDA, and WSUS Experience with Fiber Channel SANs (HP 3PAR) Preferred Great communication skills and ability to work with various teams Concise direction and able to drive ideas into positive solutions Keywords: active directory information technology golang hewlett packard green card New Jersey New York Pennsylvania http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=880349&uid= |
