Position Summary: The Quality Data Analyst role is responsible for all aspects of user acceptance testing and the quality assurance lifecycle pertaining to the HealthCare industry. This includes end to end accountability to test the quality of the user experience through visual inspection and functional testing against established QA principles, methodology and guidelines. The Quality Data Analyst will also be required to create manual test cases, execute test scripts and participate in defect remediation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participation in requirement sessions. Ability to understand the business context and underlying processes, comprehend data requirements, and to correlate them to data. Ability to query data using simple to complex SQL queries, analyze, interpret and infer from the queried result set Expertise with acquiring data from multiple data source types i.e. Transactional and Data warehouse systems. Identify critical data entities and attributes Must be comfortable interpreting data models to build data joins & associations, data wrangling and data manipulation techniques Work with large datasets, review for data inaccuracies based on stated data requirements and provide feedback to the business and technology teams Work closely with Data engineering and Business Intelligence teams to help identify data, dashboard, report anomalies. Guide in quick resolution Must have worked in a data-centric environment where large volumes of data are queried for analysis Experience with working with reporting/analytical tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI is big plus Development of test plans and test scripts based on requirement specifications. Test plan implementation and script execution. Drive BI testing including Functional Testing, Data Validation, System Integration, Automated testing. Defect tracking/remediation. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and/ two plus years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
