Position Title  : SAP Cutover Manager

Job Location   :Rockledge Florida, Monterey Mexico

Duration         :6-12 Months

Scenarios in order from Best Down Expense to Mexico are automatically covered Option 3 trying

to avaoid

1) Someone local to Rockledge Florida that only needs expense covered when going to Mexico

2) Someone that needs expenses traveling to Rockledge Florida but can stay in Rockledge for

weeks at a time and does not need to go home every week.

3) Someone that needs expenses in Rockledge traveling every week.

A tiny flexibility Client does need folks onsite full weeks but 10-20% of this can be remote.

80% Onsite.

This is open to anyone that has a Visa and can work in the US and Mexico.

First 5 months in FL in Rockledge, rest of the year in Monterey and Reynosa Mexico. 

Will be open to anyone and any visa that can work in all 3 locations.

Looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Lead Manager, supporting product management

within the Global Business Service Information Technology (GBS-IT) organization by

providing thought leadership and technical domain expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and related

technologies..

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cutover activities for SAP S/4 Hana

& their shopfloor (a project manager will support the cutover activities with the necessary

knowledge in the application). This role involves managing the coordination, planning,

execution, and post-implementation review of cutover and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute cutover from legacy AX 2012 to SAP S/4 Hana including

the shop-floor system upgrade.

Collaborate to refine and then maintain an overall approach to cutover,

documenting a common understanding of the building blocks and activities

leading to the implementation of a dress rehearsal (i.e. end to end simulation

of production cutover) as well as production cutover itself.

Lead activities to support the development of the blackout calendar, a detailed

cutover workplan, cutover continuity and controlled ramp-up plans, and define

and drive towards Go/No-go Criteria

Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth cutover phase.

Manage the identification and resolution of issues during cutover.

Works closely with the work streams to document the cutover plan for each

boundary system application.

Develop detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both

technical and operations or business tasks

Coordinate Cutover Continuity Plan development

Identify and escalate project risk and issues to the Local Project Manager

Ensure all activities adhere to industry best practices and quality standards.

Provide leadership and guidance to cutover team members.

Provide process/procedure overviews for team members that will assist in

managing cutover (i.e. lead command center shifts, implement cutover plan)

Ensure appropriate monitoring is in place and change control is followed

Partner with change management resources to synchronize site readiness,

communication, and learning activities with cutover activities

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to communicate

progress and issues, ensuring a common understanding of plans and activities.

Coordinates requirements for Go Live including staffing and overall logistics

Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and

opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a bachelors degree is required. Preferably in Information Technology,

Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Required:

2-4 projects experience in SAP S/4 Hana cutover.

Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and implementation methodologies.

Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Proficiency in tools such as, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Proven effectiveness at leading, aligning, and collaborating across organizational boundaries

(e.g., project teams, functions, and partner organizations) while navigating diverse

perspectives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work constructively with diverse stakeholders

Proven discretion with confidential and sensitive issues

Strong networking, negotiating and interpersonal skills

Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with strong storytelling and

presentation capabilities.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate while navigating diverse

perspectives.

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience working with off-shore and on-shore development teams and fostering

collaboration across time zones and regions.

Preferred:

       Values and understands the importance of documentation and knowledge

management.

       Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
