Responsible for uptime and maintenance of streaming compute platform. Responsible for setting up streaming frameworks like flink for large scale streaming ingestion both on premises and in cloud, preferably Azure Partner with fellow data engineers to define and deploy requirements for the platform. Deploying and debugging streaming applications to take them to production. Requirements: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years of experience in big data streaming technologies In-depth knowledge and experience in one or more large scale distributed technologies including but not limited to: Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Flink, Spark Experience building high performance distributed systems, solving large scale engineering challenges. Experience deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.
