Job Description:

Role: Network Engineer

Location: Yorkville, IL (Onsite)

Roles & Responsibilities

           Good experience in Installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances

           Experience of installing Cisco and HP networking equipment.

           Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred.

           CCNP certified (or higher)

           Data knowledge - Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing o Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being
MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS o Palo Alto Command line

           Must have a good networking background and understanding of high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and customization
of features

           Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud

           Experience of supporting clients remotely and face to face, along with experience of working with SIP providers

           Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

           Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements.

           Needs to be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure a logical thought process is maintained.

Generic Managerial Skills

           Excellent written/verbal communication skills

           Excellent team player

           Consensus building skills

           Independently manage Stakeholder Meetings

           Detail-oriented

           Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills

           The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously

           Strong problem-solving skills

           String desire to provide new solutions, which are cost effective and deliver quicker Time to market.
