Data Analyst Our client, a telecommunications company located in Stamford, CT is in need of a Data Analyst on a 6 month contract-to-hire basis. The Data Analyst will work onsite daily, joining a data science team who are automating credit risk functions such as underwriting and collections for millions of mobile and cable customers. The Data Analyst will conduct requirements gathering, respond to ad hoc requests, using their expertise in SQL to pull and analyze data from large data sets, and will further use SAS or Python to conduct advanced analysis to be shared with other Finance, Legal, and Risk teams throughout the organization. Required Skills: Extremely strong and demonstrable SQL skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience using SQL to pull and analyze large and complex data sets Minimum 5 years experience analyzing data with either Python, SAS, or R Minimum 3 years experience conducting requirements gathering and other traditional Business Analysts tasks to help solve business problems Preferred Skills: Experience working with large databases Excellent Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables, etc Pega Finance or Telecom industry experience Thanks.
