We take pride in delivering specialized talent, superior performance, and seamless execution to meet the challenging business needs of customers Job role : Power BI Platform Architect Location : ATLANTA, GA* Job Summary: We are looking for a platform architect who can support us with backend design, infrastructure, additional tooling, capacity optimization Minimum 15+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions using BI platforms Strong experience in Power BI(dataflow & end to end process), Architecture, development, and data modelling Defining Power BI Architecture standards, industry best practices and communicating across engineering teams to ensure adoption and governance. Performs server hardware/software installation and maintenance tasks for on-premise/Cloud infrastructure. Candidate should be able to Install and Configure BI Tools to Connect to Google Big Query (Preferable Power BI to GBQ). Tenant, Capacity and Workspace Administration in Power BI Play a principle role in technical evaluations and proof of concept programs as it relates to evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools on Azure and Google Cloud Platforms. Design conceptual/logical data models, data flows, datasets and source to target mappings Assists in the development and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure capacity forecast (Azure and Google Cloud Platforms). Performance tuning and optimizing data processing/consumption workloads. Coordinate with business and analytics needs to identify future requirements and solutions. Tenant, Capacity and Workspace Administration in Power BI Performs virtual server provisioning and configurations as well as initiating requests for supporting cloud infrastructure components Works with IT Security team to ensure the cloud environments aligns with IT Security compliance Develops and maintains cloud infrastructure. Proven technical leadership and skills in creating, leading and implementing Data Management architecture for large enterprise scale Location: GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.
