Ensure high-availability and solid performance through pro-active maintenance and optimization efforts. Responsible to provide operational support for Application Platform technologies (tier 2/3) involving sophisticated, technical issues to ensure timely resolution. Provide technical guidance to members of the tier 1 and 2 support teams. Suggests actions to prevent future system issues utilizing ITIL Problem management such as RCA. May require 24/7 on-call support to operations. Required Five (5) or more years of experience in System Administration or Application Development or Support & Maintenance of large enterprise grade applications Two (2) or more years of experience administering and maintaining Kubernetes clusters with at least one year experience in a production environment Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes platform Experience in maintaining Kubernetes ecosystem including Ingress, Service Mesh, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana and EFK Preferred Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related Engineering/ technical field CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications DevOps tools experience Experience on NGINX, F5 Load Balancers and VIPs Hands on experience in using Software development methodologies Agile Methodology, Scrum and Waterfall software development processes.
