In this role, you will play a crucial part in configuring the SAP EHS system, focusing on the S/4HANA 2022 release. This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work required in Houston, Texas. Local candidates are preferred, and expenses for onsite work will be covered. However, we welcome applications from candidates located anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities: SAP EHS Configuration: Configure the SAP EHS system, with a specific emphasis on the S/4HANA 2022 release. Functional Definition: Collaborate on the functional definition of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) management processes. Technical Testing: Assist in technical testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of the SAP EHS system. End User Training: Play a vital role in training end users to maximize the system's effectiveness. Data Conversion and Manual Data Creation: Contribute to data conversion activities and assist in manual data creation when necessary. Debug Fixing and Client Coordination: Identify and resolve system issues by assisting in debug fixing and coordinating with both the client and SAP. Requirements: Proficiency in SAP EHS, with a strong emphasis on the S/4HANA 2022 release. Experience with SDS management, DG (Dangerous Goods) management, EHS, and DMS (Document Management System). Familiarity with earlier SAP modules related to product safety and stewardship, as well as EHSM (Environment, Health, and Safety Management). Excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Additional Information: Based on feedback from a recent interview, it's imperative that candidates have experience in SAP EHS within the S/4HANA 2022 environment. Previous experience primarily in older EHS and Product Safety & Stewardship modules may not be sufficient for this role. The rejected candidate lacked knowledge of EHS in SAP S/4HANA 2021 release onwards and was unable to provide satisfactory information on relevant topics. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of current and in-depth expertise in SAP EHS, particularly within the context of S/4HANA 2022.
