The position will support the pricing systems planning processes, systems design and implementation, and operational execution of pricing operations, specifically, maintaining and optimizing the operational systems that support Conga CPQ capabilities. In addition, it will identify, propose and help to execute improvements to pricing processes and systems that create operational efficiencies, optimize revenue and margins, and deliver better pricing outcomes. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Pricing Strategy and Enablement and requires teaming with Sales Operations, IT, Global Partner Operations, Sales, and Finance at all levels of the organization, as well as occasional support of system-related inquiries from field sales personnel. Key Job Responsibilities Configure and define Conga pricing rules, validation rules and related elements based on the business and strategic pricing ecosystem requirements and its impacts of business rules additions and modifications. Key experience in managing Price Dimensions, Price Matrix, Price Ruleset, Field Expressions, Related Pricing, Tier Pricing and Dependent Pricing. Be the subject matter expert and expert user for Conga pricing systems feature and functionality. This requires understanding the pricing rules, pricing methods and subscription calculations, in addition to the interdependencies of configuration/pricing/quote/order management and advanced pricing analytics systems. Coordinate and support Pricing Managers during new product introduction and align testing to deliver high-quality, accurate, complete, sustainable, repeatable pricing outcomes. Define and Configure CPQ Configuration elements such as Products, Pricing, Catalog, Shopping Cart, Constraint Rules and Product Attribute Rules. Drive, influence and help to lead the design and implementation of processes and systems to enable Sales and our selling partner community to optimize their value capture and operational efficiency. Define and configure the Approval Workflow process in its entirety for each monetization model. Primary point of contact for support regarding system functionality to Strategic Pricing Operations and other pricing stakeholder functions utilizing the pricing engine in Conga. Create and maintain the business and functional documentation and coordinate with IT for detailed system design documents. Verify and maintain pricing functionality within pricing-related systems. This includes identifying and coordinating resolution of issues, sometimes involving cross-functional problem-solving and leading the development of new or changed processes, methods, and systems. Support the reporting of the business impact of pricing workflows, systems and processes, and recommend changes to Strategic Pricing Operations leadership to improve financial performance and operational benefits. Support future solution strategies by working closely with Business stakeholders and IT Development teams; including the collaboration of cross functional teams to communicate the proposed solution vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Focus on What can we do to make things better for others Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar discipline, plus 5-8 years related experience. Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Excel macro experience a plus. Experience using Conga CPQ, Salesforce.com, Tableau, Power BI, PROS or other similar data reporting and pricing tools with large datasets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Development experience in Apttus CPQ and CLM. Deep understanding of Conga CLM (former Apttus) processes & system. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic systems thinker. Ability to apply sound business judgment, personal initiative and resourcefulness. Ability to successfully operate in a dynamic environment and work with changing business requirements. Must have experience in X-Author for Contracts, Validations and Data Load Management. Understanding of product configuration management: products, bundles, inclusion rules, recommendation rules, constraint rules. Must have Conga CPQ 201, and CLM Essentials.
