Help desk exp a plus Comm skills are very important Job Overview: As an SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical and operational aspects of SAP systems. Your role involves configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP environments to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. System Administration: - Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and components, including SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite, and associated databases. - Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to SAP software. 2. Performance Optimization: - Monitor system performance and conduct performance tuning to ensure optimal SAP system operation. - Analyze and resolve performance issues. 3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: - Identify and resolve technical issues and errors in SAP systems. - Provide support for end-users and coordinate with other IT teams for issue resolution. 4. System Monitoring: - Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address system and application issues. - Respond to system alerts and incidents. 5. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures. - Generate reports on system performance and health. 6. Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP developers, business analysts, and project managers. - Work with SAP vendors and third-party service providers. Qualifications -Minimum 1 year SAP Basis experience -A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred - SAP Basis certification is preferred. - knowledge of SAP architecture, NetWeaver technology, and SAP application components. - Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix) and database management. - Experience with SAP tools and administration utilities. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Knowledge of SAP best practices and security standards.
