Your role involves configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP environments to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. System Administration: - Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and components, including SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite, and associated databases. - Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to SAP software. 2. Performance Optimization: - Monitor system performance and conduct performance tuning to ensure optimal SAP system operation. - Analyze and resolve performance issues. 3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: - Identify and resolve technical issues and errors in SAP systems. - Provide support for end-users and coordinate with other IT teams for issue resolution. 4. System Monitoring: - Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address system and application issues. - Respond to system alerts and incidents. 5. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures. - Generate reports on system performance and health. 6. Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP developers, business analysts, and project managers. - Work with SAP vendors and third-party service providers. Qualifications -Minimum 1 year SAP Basis experience -A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred - SAP Basis certification is preferred. - knowledge of SAP architecture, NetWeaver technology, and SAP application components. - Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix) and database management. - Experience with SAP tools and administration utilities. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Knowledge of SAP best practices and security standards.
