In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions using Groovy, with a strong focus on interoperability with Java and Python. Key Responsibilities: Write, maintain, and optimize Groovy code for various software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software solutions. Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability of Groovy applications. Java and Python Integration: Utilize your expertise in Java to seamlessly integrate Java libraries and components into Groovy applications. Bridge the gap between Groovy and Python by developing connectors, API endpoints, or data exchange solutions as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues between Groovy, Java, and Python. Software Development: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications. Work on both new projects and enhancements to existing systems. Maintain and update documentation related to the software development process. Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Groovy Developer with strong proficiency in Java and Python. Knowledge of the Groovy programming language and its features. Demonstrated experience in building and integrating Java and Python components. Familiarity with development frameworks and libraries in Java (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and Python (e.g., Django, Flask). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and continuous integration. Additional Skills (Preferred but not required): Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL). Agile/Scrum development methodology experience.
