Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters: The engineer must have experience in designing and deploying Kubernetes clusters on-premise or on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 2. Develop and maintain automation tools: The engineer should have experience in developing and maintaining automation tools for deploying and scaling applications in Kubernetes clusters. This includes scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power, and tools like Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps. 3. Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters: The engineer must have experience in monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructure components like nodes, pods, services, and ingress controllers. This includes using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. 4. Implement security best practices: The engineer must have experience in implementing security best practices in Kubernetes clusters, including configuring RBAC, TLS, and network policies. They should also have experience in managing secrets and implementing container image scanning. 5. Collaborate with development teams: The engineer must have strong collaboration skills to work with development teams to understand their application requirements and provide guidance on how to deploy and scale their applications in Kubernetes clusters.
