The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of low-level hardware components such as CPU, GPU, NPU, and SSD, and the ability to interact with them through Python scripting. In addition, they should be adept at integrating low-level SDKs and comfortable working in multi-platform environments, including Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS. Technical Skills: 7+ years of professional experience in Python scripting and low-level hardware interaction. Experience integrating low-level SDKs into Python applications. 5+ years in Power scripting for Windows system administration. Strong knowledge of CPU, GPU, NPU, and SSD architecture and functionality. Ability to work effectively in multi-platform environments (Mac, Windows, Chrome OS). . Roles and Responsibilities Low-Level Hardware Interaction: Interface with CPU, GPU, NPU, and SSD components to collect essential information, monitor performance, and potentially control hardware functions. Python and Power Integration: Develop and maintain Python scripts that seamlessly integrate with Power for cross-platform automation and system management. SDK Integration: Collaborate with hardware manufacturers to integrate low-level software development kits (SDKs) into Python scripts, enabling efficient hardware control and data extraction. Multi-Platform Compatibility: Ensure Python scripts are compatible with various operating systems, including Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS, and resolve platform-specific issues. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues, optimize performance, and implement error-handling mechanisms in scripts. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for hardware integration processes, scripts, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and hardware engineers, to achieve project goals. Desired Skills: Familiarity with additional scripting or programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Bash). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of hardware virtualization and containerization technologies. Behavioral Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
