Position Title  :   ASANA CWM Engineer

Job Location   :  Remote

Duration         : 6 -12 Months+

The Asana CWM Engineer will be responsible for configuring and setting up

Asana to support the organization's collaborative work management needs,

including portfolio management, project management, program management,

resource, and capacity allocation. This individual will play a crucial role

in ensuring the smooth operation of Asana across the organization,

optimizing its features, and ensuring alignment with business goals and

objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

1.  Asana Configuration:  - Set up and configure Asana workspaces, projects,

and portfolios in line with organizational requirements. - Implement custom

fields, tags, dependencies, and integrations to enhance project management

capabilities.

2.  Portfolio & Project Management:  - Create a standardized project

template library. - Develop processes for project intake, prioritization,

and lifecycle management. - Support portfolio visibility and real-time

status reporting.

3.  Program Management:  - Establish frameworks for managing related

projects as coherent programs. - Ensure alignment of program objectives with

organizational goals.

4.  Resource & Capacity Allocation:  - Implement and optimize Asana's

workload feature to manage resource capacity and allocation. - Provide

insights into resource availability and constraints. - Support the

forecasting of resource needs based on project pipeline.

5.  Integration:  - Integrate Asana with other enterprise tools, ensuring

seamless data flow and enhanced automation. - Collaborate with the IT team

to troubleshoot integration issues.

6.  Training & Support:  - Conduct regular Asana training sessions for

staff. - Create user guides, FAQs, and other documentation. - Provide tier-2

support for Asana users facing challenges.

7.  Continuous Improvement:  - Stay updated with Asana updates and new

features. - Seek feedback from users and continuously refine the setup to

better meet the organization's needs.

Qualifications: 

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience with Asana, including advanced features and

integrations.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or

Waterfall, tools including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow etc

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and training skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Asana Certified Pro status.

- Experience in a similar role in a medium to large-sized organization.
