We are using Node.js primarily to manipulate data, create business rules, test business rules, and perform various financial calculations. These rules will be represented as Node.js functions, which will subsequently be chained together, containerized and deployed at scale for applications to large volumes of data. The contractor therefore should be capable of using Node.js both as a traditional web application back-end as well as for more fundamental software engineering, data engineering, and scaled deployment.
