Exp. location: Albany, NY Duration: 30 Months Visa- Any valid working visa in USA. There is only 1 round with direct client NOTE = This is onsite job from day 1. Client will provide Hybrid work option. You have to go onsite 2/3 days in a week. Daily tasks will include: These positions will perform software testing on new, enhanced, and fixed Child Support application features before the updated software packages are released. Responsibilities include writing test plans; designing and developing manual and automated test scripts based on analysis of software specifications; the execution of manual and automated tests for new application functions, defects, and application regression testing; maintaining test cases and ensuring manual tests are migrated into the automated testing tool. The position will also participate in business requirements gathering sessions, the creation of test data and performance testing tasks for the application. Testing may also include application code, middleware code, templates, and database tables. The position may also include training and mentoring new members of the project team. Will also provide troubleshooting and end-user support/problem resolution when necessary. Software Developer: ASSETS (Child Support) project Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months experience in all phases of Functional Testing. Qualifying activities include such items as: - analyzing and interpreting business requirement documents (BRDs) and use cases in unified modeling language (UML) for testability and inconsistencies - participation in Joint Application Development sessions, seeking clarification from business analysts as needed - documenting and implementing application test plans - identifying test cases - writing and executing test scripts - identifying and analyzing application problems and the communication of such to development team. 84 months experience with Client Quality Center/Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for testing. 84 months experience with Client Quick Test Professional (QTP) and Client/Microfocus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for developing and maintaining automated scripts used to do regression testing. 84 months experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test strategies based on software specifications for a web-based application in a large, complex and diverse Human Services (Federal, State, or local government) delivery system consisting of more than 100 Screens and more than 100 cross edits. 36 months experience as a test lead, providing direction and training to other members of the project team 48 months experience using industry-standard tools, including SQL Navigator, SOAP UI and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Client Quality Center, to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. 48 months experience with Client LoadRunner (or Performance Center) used for load and performance testing.
