Job description We are seeking self-starters who are highly motivated, efficient, professional, communicative, and able to contribute to the team on day one. As a BI developer on our team, you will participate in the development of Tableau Analytical Dashboards, Workbooks, KPIs, Extracts and Cognos Framework Manager Models, reports, cubes, and implementation of overall BI solutions. -Interacting with technical teams and development resources to help translate requirements into BI solutions, reports, and dashboards. -Create complex formulas and calculations within Tableau to meet the needs of complex business logic and good knowledge on Level of Detail Expressions. -Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks. -Creates effective Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytical dashboards / analytical tools for business users in Tableau. -Build and publish customized interactive Tableau reports and dashboards along with data refresh scheduling using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server -Create Tableau Scorecards, Dashboards using stack bars, bar graphs, scattered plots, geographical maps, line/pie graphs, and Gantt charts -Perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) -Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques -Create new KPIs and monitor them consistently in datasets -Effectively utilizes features and Best Practices of Tableau and visual analytics to maximize impact and utility of visualization products -Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes -Schedule & Monitor Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports Factored upon -Data Refresh Cycles and server contention. -Security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance -Analyze business requirements and write technical specifications for BI tools like Tableau and Cognos to develop Reports, Extracts, Dashboards, Cognos Cubes, Framework Manager Packages -Develop Cognos & Tableau content, specifically Reports in Report Studio, Cognos Cubes using Transformer, Events in Event Studio, Extracts, Visualizations and Workbooks in Tableau Qualifications: -Advanced knowledge of reports performance optimization; Perform -Development and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau. -Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks -Demonstrated expertise in developing and operating Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics -The ability to query and show massive data sets while optimizing workbook performance -Strong DW-BI Skills; Data modeling and advanced Reporting experience -Extensive experience in Cognos & Tableau portal functionality -Experience in development of Framework Manager Models, Query -Packages and Report studio Reports -Extensive Knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server SQL writing skills -Strong problem solving & analytical skills -Knowledge of ETL & Snowflake Concepts -BS in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience Cloud (AWS and Azure) Technologies and Storage -Expert level skills in the following suite of data analysis and visualization tools: Data Extraction languages such as SQL. -Proficiency with relational databases or Big Data platforms and Data Visualization packages (Tableau, Cognos etc.). -Extraordinary analytical skills, coupled with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful insights from disparate data sources. -The ability to understand data, process it, extract value from it, visualize it and communicate insights to audiences of various backgrounds, including senior management -Experience with TOAD is preferred. -Experience with Medicaid or Health care data is preferred Thank you, Vishal Singh Trail Blazer Consulting LLC 3811 Ditmars, Blvd # 30 Astoria, New York, NY 11105 Phone: +1 (914)-650-4600 EXT: 149 || [email protected] If you are not interested in receiving e-mails from Trail Blazer Consulting LLC, please click [email protected] Keywords: business intelligence information technology green card Massachusetts New York http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=736558&uid= |
