Title: Azure Data Factory Engineer Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract This role will be responsible for creating data orchestration with Azure Data Factory. Key role is to partner with the customer to understand and implement the business requirements using Azure Data Factory and PowerBI solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: Understand business requirements and actively provide inputs from data and architecting perspective. Partner and collaborate with business teams to provide solutions. Understand the underlying data and flow of data. Design, build and maintain simple to complex pipelines & dataflows. Implement data monitoring, including basic data quality checks. Integrate and transform raw data into scalable data models to be consumed by data analysts and business partners. Design, build and update data models that simplify data and report analyses. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong to expertise knowledge on Azure Data Factory and PowerBI with proven work experience. Strong to expertise knowledge of Azure SQL & Synapse database with proven work experience. Strong expertise in creating stored procedures for transformation of large volumes of data. Ability to analyse and understand complex data. Knowledge of data management, data warehousing and business intelligence architecture. Experience in data modelling and database design with excellent knowledge of Azure SQL Server best practices. Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Lean, Kanban). Knowledge of Azure Services like Analysis Service, SQL Databases, Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Snowflake is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision .
