Duties and Responsibilities: The Functional Specialist is responsible forsolving business problems, process optimization, resolving production tickets,performing reconciliations between budgetary and proprietary accounts. 10 years of experience. The functional specialist shall have experience supportingmonth-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation. The functionalspecialist shall be able to support testing and conduct training. Provenexpertise in Oracle EBS R12 modules: iProcurement, Purchasing (PO), Payables(AP), Project Accounting. Plus points for a thorough understanding of FederalVertical (FV), Budget Execution, Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) and General Ledger(GL). Excellent communication skills required. Security clearance will berequired for this position and will take 3-4 weeks. Education: 1. Bachelors degree in information technology,Finance, Business, Accounting or related field, or 2. The equivalent combination of education andsuccessful work experience (10 years) and 3. CPA Certification is Preferred 4. Must have resided in the USA for the last 3 of 5years. Qualifications: Oracle eBusinessSuite Functional Specialist Procure toPay Process Area 1. 10 years ofOracle Financials EBS experience (Required) 2. 10 years ofexperience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME in Procureto Pay Process Area (Required) 3. 7 years of experience with month-end andyear-end closing and reconciliation in Procure to Pay Process Area (Required) 4. 7 years of experience providing productionsupport for Oracle EBS 5.
