As a Lead Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, particularly using Selenium, and be capable of leading a team of automation engineers. Key Responsibilities: Lead Automation Strategy: Develop and execute the overall automation testing strategy for our projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards. Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation testing frameworks using Selenium and other relevant tools. Test Script Development: Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security. Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data, ensuring its accuracy and availability for automated testing. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of automation engineers, guiding them in best practices and mentoring their career development. Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and generate comprehensive test reports for stakeholders. Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, report, and track defects in the software, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain automation pipelines within CI/CD workflows to ensure efficient and automated testing. Quality Assurance Best Practices: Advocate for and implement quality assurance best practices, standards, and processes across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and leadership abilities.
