Job id: HBITS-05-13005 Role : Java Architect location: Albany, NY 12204 Duration: 24 Months Visa- Any valid working visa in USA. There is only 1 round with direct client NOTE = This is onsite job from day 1. Client will provide Hybrid work option. You have to go onsite 2/3 days in a week. This individual will be expected to participate in the following activities: Design and implement software database solutions including data modeling. Database administration including performance turning and troubleshooting. Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance. Work with the Infrastructure team to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing. Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing and implementation. Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs, schemas, etc, as appropriate. Provide technical guidance to team of developers. Database Architect Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. Expert 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture with experience in data structures, algorithms, software design and JEE Design Patterns on an IBM platform. 84 months experience developing applications that were implemented with JAVA Development Kit 1.8. 84 months experience with Oracle 10g or higher including coding with PL/SQL. 84 months experience writing and maintaining code using Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) and Java Persistence API (JPA) /Hibernate. 84 months experience writing and maintaining code using Java Web services: JAXB / JAX-WS 84 months experience developing applications in JSF/JSP. 84 months experience in developing applications using JMS, MQ 6.0 or higher. 84 months experience deploying applications with Websphere Application Server & Websphere Portal Server or Tomcat or JBOSS.
