Daily tasks will include: Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect will be required to define the data requirements, write application specifications and design for the mainframe and .NET processing. Programs will be written in .NET and Cobol based on the design; the necessary JCL will be written as well. Unit testing for each module is required as well as writing test plans for the integration test. When testing is completed the Software Architect will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post-production validation of the implementation.
