Position Overview : Our client is seeking an Oracle Fusion Indirect Tax Technology Consultant to support a strategic initiative project to implement an Oracle Fusion globally. This position will be a long-term contract position that will report directly to the Indirect Tax Director. The position will be 100% remote with as much as 15-20% travel required during key implementation phases. The Indirect Tax Technology consultant will be an integral member of the tax team and will help to ensure we establish an efficient and effective end to end process for indirect tax at a Global level. Responsibilities : Work with the Indirect Tax Director in the creation and maintenance of the tax systems necessary to ensure proper tax reporting for strategic initiatives (process design, implementation, user acceptance, training and go-live and post go-live phases). Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains and application of tax process and technology best practices by using new and existing technologies Test and validate key data for use in the tax compliance process to check for accuracy and completeness Perform project management and organization tasks for the tax value stream during ERP system implementation project Manage relationships between key third party implementation partners and Astec team members Create and revise key documentation throughout the project Identifies and escalates issues/opportunities to Indirect Tax Director as needed. Log and track incidents/requests from identification through resolution in incident management software. Perform maintenance and smoke testing on current ERP/tax system connections in connect to quarterly updates and patches Qualifications : 5+ years of work experience in Tax technology; Avalara 5+ years of work experience in indirect tax, project management, and ERP / tax / billing/ payable implementation projects Knowledge of the compliance process for indirect taxes in both US/Canada and for VAT reporting Strong project management skills with experience of meeting deadlines and prioritization Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Ability to effectively communicate with management, business leaders and cross functional IT teams Strong experience with Oracle Fusion and data analytics tools like Alteryx Experience with multiple ERP systems (EPICOR 9/10, AX2012, Syteline 8/9, Info Visual, Macola, TCM, Tencia and Dynamic 365) or proven ability to learn new ERP Expertise with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects, Teams) Experience developing business requirements, instructional and procedural documentation and presentations Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven to succeed Job Type : Consultant (non-employee) full-time 100% remote Some travel required- Typically 15-20% Thanks & Regards , Rakesh sethi Technical Recruiter Phone Number: VYZE INC(An E- VERIFIED COMPANY) | 25179 Methley Plum Place, Aldie, VA 20105 Email: [email protected] Disclaimer : This communication, along with any documents, files or attachments, is intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain confidential information.
