Scope: The contract writer will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documentation related to but not limited to, procurement activities, such as purchase orders, service agreements, vendor contracts, modifications, and amendments. Creates contract documentation, including the development of the scope of services, performance requirements, and terms and conditions. Develops language that defines the delivery, service, quality, and pricing for services or products procured. Ensures language is clear and consistent and coordinates with all business units and stakeholders to ensure all protocols, procedures, and requirements are developed in accordance with the Departments needs. Tasks also include the maintenance of an internal documentation library, providing and/or coordinating special documentation services as required, and oversight of special projects as needed. Must have strong organizational and project management skills and excellent writing and editing skills. Interviews: In-person interviews will be conducted at the Tolls Data Center, 7941 Glades Rd., Boca Raton, Florida, 33434. At the discretion of the manager, interviews may be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams. A phone interview may also be requested as a first step. Telecommuting: Telecommuting is not an option for this position. This is not a remote position. This position will be located at the Tolls Data Center, 7941 Glades Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33434. Background Check: A Level 1 background check is required prior to the start date. Requirements: Must Attach a Resume Sample of prior work (with evidence of sole authorship) must be presented Must Complete the following Education, Experience, and Skills Matrices Must Complete the attached Exhibit F Form, Resume Self-Certification Form (See Attachment) Educations, Experience and Skills Matrix Education Degree/Date Received University Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Technical Experience Years of Experience Last Year Used A minimum of 3 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of procurement processes/documentation. Intermediate professional level role. Works on several moderately complex, to complex document management projects as a project team member. May coach more junior staff.
