Position: Network Engineer With Data Center No of Positions: 02 Work Location: Gallatin, TN AND Papillion, NE ( Onsite from Day-1) Duration: Long Term Contract Implementor: HCL Required Skills: Network Engineer With Data Center, Fiber Optic, RJ45, other connectors AND Switch Directories. Job Description : Key Skills: Experience working with Fiber optic. Experience in RJ45 and other connectors Experience with switch directories Qualifications: Culture / Team fit Ambitious / Hard working / Ggetter / Coachable / Mentor Physical layer: fiber optic connections, contamination, cleaning Understand ESD best practices Comfortable with text based CLI Familiar with IP based networking A+/Network+ level of knowledge required Good understanding of OSI layer and network principles 4+ years of IT related experience required Familiarity with the Linux based systems and experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl) Understanding BGP routing protocols, spanning tree, VRRP, LACP Good organization, multitasking and communication skills Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Outlook, Excel Understanding of network procedures, environmental and safety management in a DC environment Responsibilities: Physical hardware swaps: (Fabric and Backbone) Optical transceiver swaps / Circuit diagnosis Line card swap TOR Replacement Work with vendors for RMA's Must be able tlift 50lbs Asset Management Tools and Ticket management Build relationships with partner teams within the DC Ability treview hardware logs, isolate and identify root cause Remote link troubleshooting Ability tmentor and guide L1 resources Best Regards, Rasheed Uddin Akbar | Talent Acquisition Specialist Amaze Systems Inc .
