The developer will be migrating from AuthToken to OIDC to prepare for the cloud. The developer will provide a hands-on approach to implementing security measures and taking ownership of identifying and resolving security issues within the code base. Job Responsibilities: Application Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of our existing applications to understand their architecture, security measures, and potential vulnerabilities including authentication and authorization. OIDC Implementation: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC) to enable our client's applications with OIDC while following the client's standards, libraries and frameworks to ensure compatibility and consistency across all projects. An understanding of when to use PKCE within an OIDC flow is also important. Security Enhancements: Identify and address security gaps and weaknesses in the current code-base, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.). You will work closely with security engineers to apply best practices and industry standards. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, API references, and user guides, to assist other team members in understanding and using the implemented security solutions. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and security testing, to validate the efficacy and reliability of the OIDC implementation and security mitigations.
