Position: Mainframe Admin With ADABAS No of Positions: 04 Work Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Implementor: HCL Required Skills: 10+ Years, Mainframe Admin, ADABAS, Natural, Adabas Cluster Services, Adabas Parallel Services, Adabas Replication Services, Adabas Delta Save, Adabas Cache,Adabas Vista/Coordinator/FastPath, 247 environment, Debug and Tune SQL. Job Description : Key Areas of Focus for this Role: Manage, install and configure adoptable database systems (ADABAS) and related products. Monitor automation messages for database exception conditions. Analyze application and database performance problems. Responsible for the creation, scheduling, and support of database backup and maintenance processes. Develop strategies, processes and best practices in ADABAS systems programming. Establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, disaster recovery, product and database security, maintenance, and utilization Perform verification for database maintenance upgrades. Provide support and assistance for the database engineering groups for Weekend work. Implement changes to database subsystem variables. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of professional experience in ADABAS and related products for administration and systems programming support. Experience in a large, 247 environment and the ability to manage competing priorities Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively to support requests from multiple clients After hours on-call support Ability to write, debug and tune SQL Previous experience in a ADABAS environment required Experience in Adabas, Natural, Adabas Cluster Services, Adabas Parallel Services, Adabas Replication Services, Adabas Delta Save, Adabas Cache,Adabas Vista/Coordinator/FastPath Best Regards, Rasheed Uddin Akbar | Talent Acquisition Specialist Amaze Systems Inc .
