Familiarity with banking industry Seeking a freelance Mulesoft API Engineer located in the US, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our API ecosystem. We are looking for someone who can work with minimal direction and oversight, working with our existing team on API project from conception to implementation. Responsibilities: API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform. Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and data sources, ensuring seamless connectivity. Documentation: Create comprehensive API documentation to facilitate usage and troubleshooting. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize API performance to ensure responsiveness and reliability. Security: Implement and maintain API security methodologies. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, providing timely solutions. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and provide updates on API projects. Compliance: Ensure that all API development adheres to banking regulations and industry standards. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in API development and sharing insights regarding our API strategy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or other relative experience. 3-5 years of experience in API development. Strong knowledge of API security and authentication protocols. Experience with RESTful API design and development. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Experience in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform is a plus.
