Title: Senior Power BI Engineer Location: Pleasanton, CA (Local Only) Duration: 6 to 12 months Need 10+ years profiles only Must Have: I. 5+ years of experience as a BI developer II. 3+ years of experience as a PowerBI developer III. Good knowledge of SQL for validation IV. Knowledge of data modelling, including different schemas in data warehouse like star schema vs snowflake V. Experience with development for high performance including query folding, optimized joins, excluding unnecessary columns, etc. VI. Deep understanding of DAX queries and functions, including hands-on development VII. Deep knowledge of Query Analyzer and how to debug slow visualizations for performance enhancements Nice to Have: I. Experience with development and debugging in DAX Studio II. Storytelling mindset (explain, enlighten, engage) III. Experience with how to blend data and narrative in the visuals in an engaging way IV.
