Job Description: Project Details: Currently there are 8 older applications that are part of the Portals Business Unit which are written in Perl code (Legacy) and SQL DB. This resource will re-write the code using C#. Requirements: 5 years experience in object-oriented development in a complex/technical high-tech environment At least 5 years experience in C#, Perl, SQL Server 2008. Up-to-date knowledge and proven hands-on experience of C# is a must. Experience with WPF, ASP.net / Web / REST API development is highly welcomed. Excellent problem-solving abilities: you should be able to describe a few of the hardest problems you have solved and exactly how you managed them. Experience in Test Driven Development and related technical practices Experience with AI, Machine Learning including Deep Convolutional Neural Networks, Docker container on Linux platform, Kubernetes, Image processing or related is a plus. Python and C++ hands-on experience is the advantage. Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum development environment Besides re-write assignments, the resource will work on support issues, code fixes.
