Local candidate of Kansas state preferred. Job Description: This position will be responsible to assist with the coordination and management of a project. Assist in defining and documenting the project scope in a master WBS, assigning ownership. Translate the WBS into a detailed project schedule, including milestones, and ensure ownership with the primary vendor. Coordinate project resources, identify gaps, and create corrective action plans. Analyze schedule performance against the baseline, communicate progress gaps, and facilitate corrective actions. Maintain and update the project schedule as new information emerges. Summarize project updates in clear, concise written reports. Participate in risk management, documenting potential risks and their lifecycle. Review and assess work products and respond to critical findings. Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and managing project documentation. Assist the project management team as directed. Knowledge Required: Proficiency in PMBOK and its process domains, especially scope, time, communication, and risk management. Strong grasp of SDLC and waterfall methodology, including their integration with the project life cycle. Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodology and its common ceremonies. Basic understanding of OCM, BPM, requirement & traceability management, and data governance. Skills Required: Scope Management: Assisting in work breakdown and documentation. Additional experience in the areas listed above may be substituted for the required education as determined by the hiring manager. Preferred, but not required: Project management certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or State of Kansas Project Management Certification.
