Duration: 6 month contract to hire MOI: Skype Visa: Green Card or Citizen onl PROJECT OVERVIEW: The IT Senior Architect - SAP Security is responsible for designing and implementing security for new SAP systems and modules. This position is also responsible for reviewing the existing security design across our 7 SAP production systems to identify opportunities for enhancing our SAP security posture and then implementing those changes. DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate security requirements between SAP user community, configuration and programming teams, project teams, and SAP Security Administration. Research and recommend security solutions for new SAP technology. Design solutions using new SAP technology that is not well understood. Propose, define and document security strategies for horizontal SAP business intelligence capabilities and Business Objects Design and implement SAP Portal KM Security for Business Intelligence Reporting segregating all business users Design Entitlements, Roles on SAILPOINT access provision systems Plan, implement and document SAP Security procedures for new SAP System builds Provide role creation and role modification for single and composite roles to support diverse business units. Extensive knowledge on Business Warehouse Reporting applications Web Designer, Bex Analyzer, Query Designer Design and build security required for Business Object foundation and the applications Crystal, Xcelsius, Dataservices and Universe Design and develop Portal Security including permissions around the content Implement Web Security, SAML and SNC Authentication on Web Services Provide SAP security consultation throughout the Corporation. Analyze and map clients' business requirements, processes and objectives. Develop necessary SAP role changes to satisfy clients' needs. Participate in SAP project Blueprinting sessions to understand customer requirements for large scale SAP projects. Support implementation phase and assist with the development of functional and technical requirements, scope and acceptance testing. Recommend improvements in the existing business process and define SAP roles to execute the according process Has a strong client satisfaction orientation, with high quality work products. Establishes and maintains partnerships with client organizations and project team members. Performs all aspects of work with a high degree of effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy. Design security roles for the implementation of new SAP Business Suite modules to meet the business requirements of CenterPoint Energy Business Units. Consult on upgrade and Enhancement Pack implementation for SAP production systems. Research, evaluate and implement new SAP security products, procedures and methods. Comply with all internal and regulated controls. Investigate misuse of computer resources. Provide critical project support, and issue resolution. REQUIRED SKILLS: A minimum of 10 years of SAP Security experience including ECC 6.0, BW, SRM, Solution Manager, Business Objects, GRC, PI, TDMS, SAP E-Recruiting, Portal and UI Security, Hana and CRM Nice to Haves: Demonstrates understanding of customer orientation and team focus. Collaborate across functional boundaries to improve business processes in creative ways. Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Able to provide effective telephone assistance and consultation with clients and vendors. Able to work accurately, paying attention to detail and following oral and/or written instructions. Able to recognize and handle confidential information in a discreet manner. Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
