Understand needs of the enterprise as a whole, analyze problems holistically and assess solutions for strategic risks and returns. Lead the organization in the definition of the business need, articulation of the business case, identification of capability gaps, development of enterprise-wide requirements and alignment of solutions to business strategies. Perform in-depth industry research, analyze organizational problems with an enterprise lens and develop recommendations that reflect the broader enterprise context. Provide enterprise analysis consulting services to business partners in support of opportunity identification and business development. Assess relationship and impact of initiatives across enterprise portfolios, divisional strategies and functional area inter-dependencies. Lead the elicitation and elaboration of business requirements and user stories that achieve changes to business processes, policies, information and information systems for highly complex and/or enterprise business problems. Ensure creation of and adherence to requirements approach and management plan in alignment with an overall project plan. Partner with stakeholders on requirements prioritization, solution approach and alternatives, and manage requirements changes to ensure developed solution conforms to business needs. Lead the identification of areas of potential business risk, on projects both within and outside of control, make recommendations related to mitigation and escalate as necessary. Advocate for and follow appropriate enterprise-wide standards for analysis, process documentation, and reviews to support various software development methodologies. Independently create effective presentations for review by varied levels of leadership; thoroughly document all analysis assumptions, procedures and results in a manner appropriate for both senior executive and management review. Review models and artifacts developed by business SMEs, development and testing teams to support changes to the technology, processes and people impacts to the solutions. Build and support strong business relationships by documenting business issues, determining project needs, and supporting training as needed. Provide work oversight and review documents and models produced by other Business Analysts to ensure quality of product. Mentor those with less experience. Hiring Requirements Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 8+ years of experience in related field. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field. Visual Design tools knowledge/skills highly desirable Experience in or knowledge of the health care industry is strongly preferred. Excellent consultative skills needed, with ability to effectively present options and risks and escalate issues as needed to management. Solid conflict resolution and decision making skills. Excellent oral and written communication and facilitation skills that include workgroup leadership, problem resolution across multiple groups, etc. Excellent PC Skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint Commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent research, analytical, problem solving skills, including a proven ability to interpret and present quantitative data. Ability to lead teams and work well independently. Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to manage work to deadlines Excellent presentation skills Has specific knowledge of varied industry standard analysis techniques, such a data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, business process mapping, functional decomposition analysis, and/or financial ROI modeling Familiarity with project management methodologies Prefer certification in business analysis or business process excellence (i.e. CBAP, IIBA, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) Has specific knowledge of varied industry standard analysis techniques, such a data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, business process mapping, functional decomposition analysis, and/or financial ROI modeling Prefer certification in business analysis or business process excellence (i.e. CBAP, IIBA, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) Must be in one of the 28 BCNC approved states Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, FEP, and DSNP experience preferred.
