As a lead software engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development for the Snaplogic pipelines for the integration and processing across the application multiple data stores, lead the team in key design aspects on Performance, Scalability, Resiliency, Security, and High Availability, etc. Actively participate in release planning, daily stand up as well as working & helping team with tactical activities like PL/SQL, Python scripting, Snaplogic Development, code review, performance tuning, bug fix, design optimization etc. Recommending and following the best engineering practices. Building quality solutions that align with the technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems by driving design, development, and ongoing support. The Skills that are Key to this role A Bachelor or MS degree in computer science, Information Technology Strong firsthand experience in Snaplogic Design/Development. Good working experience using various snaps for Oracle, Files, Rest, Script snap etc. Resilient design thinking and solutioning ability to provide optimal solutions for complex data transformation use cases. Proficiency collaborating with Python specifically as it relates to data processing. Strong firsthand development in Python to manage complex data transformation use cases. Strong in Oracle database Concepts. Firsthand Development in SQL / PL SQL which includes performance tuning, writing packages, stored procedures, troubleshooting skills etc. Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (AWS) and performance optimization for large data volumes. Superior Data Modeling skills and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms. Firsthand experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services (primarily Cloud Formation, serverless, compute, container, and database services) Your experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Ruby, Groovy, and Perl. Excellent communicator to both technical and non-technical data players to ensure mutual understanding of design to streamline and optimize data enablement. Prior experience working in Agile software development environments, with proven ability to convert user stories into delivery work that provides incremental, iterative delivery of business value. Firsthand Development experience in Informatica PowerCenter good to have. Exposure to Control M, Source Tree, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins Core. Having knowledge in cloud concepts (AWS), Aerospike, snowflake is preferred. Excellent communications and people skills. Good Email Communication and handshake/Status call etiquettes. Creative, energetic, assertive firsthand professional who enjoys the challenge of change. Exposure to Finance and Market is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills along with a good diligence. Ability to perform independent technical analysis on complex projects.
