Need experience with any integration framework. Data They deal with large volumes of data-- millions and millions so this person needs to have a strong background in data and working with millions Could have a background as a Data Engineer then became a Java Developer Need cloud experience as an AWS or just some background within Cloud (GCP, Azure, etc.) is going to be important here CANNOT HAVE: Not looking for Big Data Technology They dont want to see resumes with Hadoop or python -- don't have the deep skills in Java Job requirements: 6+ years of Java development with deep understanding of core Java, and standard frameworks such as Spring Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large data volumes and query optimization Experience in data integration, related tools, and frameworks Strong understanding of agile development methodologies Good communication skills Experience with modern ETL/ELT data pipelines Data transformation and data quality rules Enterprise Data integration Project Trying to build components to build pipelines, move to different destinations, Snowflake, Cloud etc. Some of their tools are too heavy, hard to use, decided to use one of the Open-Source frameworks to meet their specific needs. Skills: They use mostly Java-- strong skills here. Frameworks: Spring, Apache Camel (integration framework they've decided to use for the core for their frameworks)-- currently heavy users of this framework. Do not need Apache Camel-- just an integration framework background. Need to understand this. Data Deal with large volumes of data-- millions and millions Need to have a strong background in data. This will be used within Enterprise. Will have to think about how these will be used by other teams as well. AWS or just some background within Cloud is going to be important here. Industry: Not super important to have the banking/fin services expertise-- would help but don't NEED it. Team: Do have several consultants on this team-- some are performing better than others. High performers-- mostly about the attitude, showing an interest, taking ownership and speaking up. Communication is important here as well. Senior Developer Ability to take any framework, dig deeper into it, understand what's going on. Be able to work independently on a difficult feature. Not just on the architecture side, but ability to deliver here as well. Quickly conduct research. Using experience/skills and get up to par with what they're looking to do asap. Not looking for Big Data Technology Hadoop or python-based frameworks, not applicable-- don't have the deep skills in Java. Additional experience in following areas would be great to have: Knowledge of Apache Camel and/or Spring Integration and Spring Cloud Stream. Working experience with Snowflake is a plus.
